Gentle Energy Care for Animals and People in Kansas City & Beyond

Seeking clarity on how Reiki, sound healing, luxury pet sitting, and corporate sound baths and team wellness services operate? You’re in the right place. Below are answers to the most common questions about my services, approach, and what to expect.

Pet Sound Healing and Reiki FAQs

  • A gentle, non-invasive practice using instruments (singing bowls, chimes, drum, gong) to create calming frequencies that help regulate the nervous system and support relaxation.

  • Primarily pets (cats and dogs) and their people. I also offer on-site corporate sound healing for teams—see the Corporate section below.

  • In-home across the KC Metro (Overland Park, Leawood, Prairie Village & beyond), virtually via Zoom, or at partnered community spaces.

  • Sessions are designed to be gentle and trauma-informed. I work at your pet’s pace and keep volume comfortable. If your pet has a medical condition or is under veterinary care, please consult your vet first.

  • Common signs include softening posture, slower breathing, yawning, stretching, purring, sighing, or choosing to rest nearby. Some pets observe from a distance first—both are normal.

  • If your pet is:

    • Pacing, hiding, or displaying signs of stress

    • Recovering from illness or surgery

    • Struggling with separation or new environments

    • Simply sensitive or aging

    • Any pet in need of holistic well-being

All pets may benefit from this kind of support. Many clients report deeper rest, improved behavior, or a stronger connection after sessions.

  • Absolutely. I highly recommend pet and human duo sessions for co-regulation, grief processing, or shared energetic healing. This is especially powerful if you and your animal companion are navigating transitions or emotional challenges together.

  • I never force proximity. I set up a calm environment and let your pet choose their distance. Many anxious animals relax as the session progresses.

    1. Arrival & brief intake

    2. Gentle introduction of sound,

    3. Customized soundscape

    4. Quiet integration + notes for after-care.

    • Pet sound healing: 30 minutes (with a little buffer for settling in)

    • Zoom: 30 minutes

  • Choose a quiet, comfortable room; dim lights if useful; offer water; short walk/potty break beforehand; turn off TVs/alerts.

  • Up to four pets per session works best. For multi-pet households, I’ll advise after the first visit.

  • Only if they invite it. Touch is optional and consent-based. Reiki may be offered hands-on or hands-off.

  • Some pets shift in one visit; others benefit from a short series (e.g., 3–4). I’ll recommend a plan based on your goals.

  • Offer fresh water, gentle movement, and quiet time. Expect deeper rest, increased affection, or a “processing day” of extra sleep.

  • Most experience calm and ease. If your pet shows unusual behavior, keep the environment soft and observe; reach out if you have questions.

  • Yes. I adjust instrument selection, volume, and distance. Comfort and consent lead the way.

Corporate Sound Healing and Office Wellness FAQs

  • Yes. I bring instruments on-site for 60–90 minute sessions that reduce stress and support focus.

  • Up to ~30 participants for the best immersive experience. Larger groups can be accommodated with sound support (microphone + speakers).

  • All instruments; optional mats, blankets, and aromatherapy (Immersive package). Setup/teardown included.

  • Despite the word “bath,” sound bathing does not involve water and does not require a swimsuit. The “bath” simply refers to being immersed in sound and vibration.

For the best experience, wear loose, comfortable clothing—think yoga pants, leggings, or a soft T-shirt. Since you’ll be resting in a relaxed, almost sleep-like state for about an hour, it’s also helpful to consider temperature. Layers are recommended, and bringing an extra blanket or cozy wrap can make the experience even more restorative.

  • A sound bath is an immersive experience that meets each person a little differently. Most people describe it as deeply calming, meditative, and restorative.

As the bowls, gong, and chimes layer together, the vibrations fill the room in a way that makes it hard to tell where the sound begins or ends. It feels less like listening to music and more like being inside of it.

Some people sink into a peaceful, dreamlike state. Others describe waves of release, moments of clarity, or even a sense of floating outside themselves. Often, a simple childlike curiosity arises—an openness to just be with the sound.

Every session is unique, but the common thread is you leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected.

  • Everyone experiences sound healing a little differently, but most people notice a deep sense of calm and relaxation that lasts well beyond the session. You may feel lighter, less anxious, more balanced in your mood, and sometimes even a gentle boost of energy or clarity.

    Common benefits people report include:

    • Profound relaxation and stress release

    • Improved sleep and restfulness

    • A brighter mood and greater sense of wellbeing

    • Easier digestion and deeper breathing

    • Better focus and clearer thinking

    • A feeling of being recharged and rejuvenated

  • Sound baths are very safe, especially with my gentle approach and mindful volume levels. Your hearing won’t be harmed, and the experience is designed to support relaxation and healing.

That said, sometimes emotions can rise to the surface—like sadness, tears, or a wave of old feelings. This is completely normal. The sound vibrations often help move stagnant energy that’s been tucked away in the body or subconscious.

When those feelings come up in a safe space, it’s simply your system processing and releasing. Most people leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more at ease.

  • Not with me. My approach is always gentle, mindful, and respectful.

While some sound baths can be played at an overwhelming volume, I believe that true healing comes through softness. Loud, invasive sound can feel unsettling or even triggering, which is the opposite of what this work is meant to provide.

In my sessions, I play my instruments with care—layering soft tones, subtle vibrations, and intentional pauses. I also use silence as part of the experience, letting the stillness be just as powerful as the sound itself.

  • Sound baths are safe and accessible for almost everyone—including children and pregnant women.

There are no known harmful side effects. My approach is always gentle, mindful, and adapted to the comfort level of each group.

If concerned, it is always advised to talk with your medical practitioner.

  • Yes. Sound baths are safe for pregnancy, and many expectant mothers find them especially comforting. Both mom and baby can relax into the gentle vibrations without worry.

In fact, research on music and sound during pregnancy shows benefits like reduced anxiety, deeper bonding, and improved overall wellbeing. Many women describe feeling more connected to their bodies and their babies during sessions.
